The CVCHS Jazz Band is a highly successful jazz program that functions as a 'big band' style jazz ensemble. Jazz Band meets outside of our traditional school hours after school. Participation in this program requires enrollment in a concert band or orchestra course, and may require audition for rhythm section instruments (drums, piano, bass, guitar). Jazz Band is for dedicated musicians who are eager to learn and perform various styles of Swing, Latin, and Rock music.

The Jazz Band performs in winter and spring concerts as well as at program fundraisers and local adjudicated festivals in the spring. Students are able to audition for spots in regional and all-state jazz bands in the fall.
