Our amazing CVCHS String Orchestra is composed of students from all high school grade levels! The musicians in this course have the option to play the violin, viola, cello, and contrabass (commonly known as the upright bass). At least one year of string experience is required for enrolling into this ensemble. 

Our string players perform in the Winter and Spring concerts, and participate in the CMEA Orchestra Festival each Spring. In the Fall, students may audition for Regional and All-State Honor Orchestras.
